Numerical simulation of shear capacity of lightweight aggregate concrete stud connectors

In order to study the mechanical properties of stud connectors in lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC), finite element software ABAQUS was used establish push test models ordinary and LWAC, respectively. Through parameter analysis 21 models, influence different parameters on shear performance LWAC connector studied. Among them, strength, diameter strength have strong effects. Compared with concrete, enters elastoplastic working stage earlier, ultimate slip is slightly larger, ductility better, capacity about 11% lower. Regression performed calculation results, method for bearing given.
